I have found my
pet! When all your efforts and work have paid off, and your
pet is safely back at home, it is important that you take them to the vet
for a checkup. While your pet was lost, they could have eaten things that we
don't even want to think about that could make them very sick, and they also
could have picked up ticks and fleas that will need to be treated. When
pets are lost, they often get cuts and scrapes and have injuries to their
paw pads, so please do not neglect this step, for their sake. Don't forget
to take down all your posters and gather all your fliers that you have
